How to hide your WhatsApp last seen status tutorial

I know many people share this problem while using WhatsApp – they don’t want people to know when they last used WhatsApp since everyone can find out be looking at their last seen status. Why are they so afraid of this last seen status feature? Maybe they’re cheating or they just do not want to reply to their acquaintance yet do not want them to know. To solve this problem is easy, just follow the few steps below in order to hide you last seen status for your WhatsApp ( although its a bit cumbersome I have to admit ).

 

1. Download a toggle widget from Google Play, so that you easily turn on or off your data / Wi-Fi connections.
2. Whenever you want to read or send WhatsApp messages, toggle off your data / Wi-Fi connection.
3. Once done, toggle on your data / Wi-Fi connection ( but please do not open your WhatsApp while you’re connected to the Internet as it will immediately update your last seen status ).
4. That’s it, your privacy has been restored!

 

However, do note that you will not be to see your friend’s last seen status if you use this method… So although you’re safe knowing that your wife will not be able to know when you last used the WhatsApp, but you may not know if she cheats on you as well. That’s the price to pay.
